    Superwoke Review

    By sam1oq | Published Nov 4, 2019

Musically, Steaksauce Mustache is a mathcore band, but instead of the “noisy and depressive” or “extremely pissed” sound that most seem to go for, they opt for sounding like party music from hell. “Adult Swim metalcore” is another way to put it. I’m not the most well-versed in Mathcore, but I haven’t heard anything like this from the genre before.

By Sarlos Cantana, Published Feb 21, 2019

Hailing from Medford Oregon, Steaksauce Mustache describes their music genre as “Chaotic Partycore”, and that feels pretty much spot on.It makes me feel like I’m shotgunning a beer, crowd killing, stage diving, and crowd surfing all simultaneously while having a violent bout of diarrhea.

Steaksauce Mustache Performs Seattle’s TopKnot Fest

By Diane Webb, Published April 5, 2018

They put on a high energy show completely focused on audience engagement - whether with props like balloons, streamers or pool noodles or just taking themselves out into the audience or running across the rink floor dodging skaters like a desperate game of Frogger. The music was intense and the guys’ performance only took it over the top. It’s striking how many times a vocalist can change his clothes in one set while on the stage!

Steaksauce Mustache is Truly From a Different Planet

By Ben Schlotthauer, Published March 19, 2018

As the title says, the fellas over in Steaksauce Mustache are truly from a different planet. If you’ve never experienced a Steaksauce show then you are truly missing out on an experience. I’ve tried formulating a description of these guys for quite some time and it seems to be if The Dillinger Escape Plan and Arsonists Get All The Girls had a baby, Steaksauce would be that baby.

It’s Time to Make a Laugh Deposit at Steaksauce Mustache’s “Space Bank”

By Eden Kupermintz, Published March 19, 2018

Space Bank” has just the right mix of fast, chaotic and distorted riffs, reminding us of Frontierer at times or the monolithic The Dillinger Escape Plan but it splices these riffs with more deathcore influenced breakdowns. The vocals run the same gamut, moving from the high pitched, frenetic timbre that is so emblematic of mathcore while also at times scraping the bottom of the guttural barrel for inspiration. The end result is pretty fucking heavy and mixes well with the off-kilter music video so click above and get to headbanging/drinking chocolate milk/fighting aliens. Whatever strikes your fancy.

Video Review - “Space Bank” by Steaksauce Mustache

    Published June 13, 2018

This band is crazy. Chaotic. Unpredictable.

I am saying this with all seriousness. You put Foxy Shazam and Norma Jean in a mad science experiment, and with that experiment, you get Steaksauce Mustache. Throw in a dash of humor like Tom Green, and you get even more Steaksauce Mustache.
